My wife is a 69 year old woman who takes Eclectic Nettle Root alongside Nature's Way Fo-Ti supplements daily to restore her tired old hair. Hair follicles have receptors at the bottom of them which absorb nutrients to help hair maintain good health, youth, and growth...But dihydrotestosterone, or “DHT” for short,fits perfectly into those receptors and attaches to the receptors at the bottom of hair follicles, effectively blocking nutrients at the follicle to hair. So hair gets malnourished, dull, and eventually loses its thickness… Nettle Root Extract and Fo-Ti root are both powerfully effective 5-AR inhibitors. So far so good. I think I ordered these for a friend. Something to do with a prostate so these were one of the things I had sent to his place. Mind you, he's over 75. As far as I know, these were fine in terms of quality and ability to take them. They're veggie caps so you can see the slightly brownish contents inside. And not too hard to swallow.
