Why peppermint?

My husband (35) likes these, because it helps him when GERD appears on stressful work days. But DGL has not eliminated symthoms, just helps covering esophagus. I did not like this type of minty flavour, and I don't understand why there is mint - many people who suffer from heartburn would list this as a trigger.

dont like the peppermint

i dont know the quality of it and i dont think it helps me alot because of the peppermint in it i suffer now with heartburn. the size is fine and the dosage but i really dont like that it has peppermint in it. i dont know the benefit, taste is fine but after taking it, maling my stomach hurt

Does NOT taste like licorice LOL. Unpleasant but tolerable taste. They take a while to dissolve in your mouth. You take them before a meal. I have heartburn/acid reflux sometimes. I read these help. They do help but it's not like a WOW I'm healed kind of thing. Solid brand. Good price.
